10 Signs You’re With The Wrong Driving Instructor

Not professional

Are you unhappy with your driving instructor? If so, you’re not alone. Many people feel like they are with the wrong instructor. Sometimes it’s hard to know what to look for in a good instructor, and sometimes we just make a mistake.

In this blog post, we will discuss 10 signs that you might be with the wrong driving instructor. Hopefully, this will help you figure out if it’s time to switch instructors!

Doesn’t give constructive criticism

If your instructor is constantly telling you that you’re doing things wrong, it might be time for a change. A good instructor will give constructive criticism, but they won’t make you feel like you’re always messing up.

Doesn’t take your lessons seriously

If your instructor is constantly making jokes and not taking your driving lessons seriously, it might be time to switch instructors. Driving is a serious business, and your instructor should treat it as such.

Doesn’t care about your progress

If your instructor doesn’t seem to care about your progress or goals, it might be time to find someone new. A good instructor will want to see you succeed and will help you set goals for yourself.

Doesn’t want to help you improve

Do you feel like your Instructor is trying to control the lesson? This isn’t conducive to learning and can make the whole experience quite frustrating.

A good driving instructor will give you plenty of opportunities to practice and will give you feedback on your progress. If your instructor doesn’t seem interested in helping you improve, it might be time to find someone new.

Isn’t punctual

If your instructor is always running late or canceling lessons, it can be very frustrating. This isn’t a sign of a good instructor who is dedicated to helping their students succeed.

You don’t feel comfortable

If you don’t feel comfortable with your instructor, it’s probably time to switch. Learning to drive should be a positive experience and if you’re not comfortable with your instructor it can make the whole process quite stressful.

Not professional

If your instructor isn’t acting professionally, it can be a sign that they’re not taking their job seriously. This means they might not be as dedicated to helping you learn and you might not be getting the best possible instruction.

Rude or impatient

Your instructor should be patient with you and understand that learning to drive is a process. If they are constantly yelling at you or being rude, it’s not going to help you learn any faster. In fact, it might just make the whole experience more stressful.

Unprepared

If your instructor isn’t prepared for your lesson, it can be frustrating. They should have a plan for what you’re going to learn and be able to answer any questions you have. If they’re just winging it, it’s not a good sign.

Not flexible

If your instructor isn’t willing to work around your schedule, it can make it very difficult to get the lessons you need. This is especially important if you have a busy lifestyle or work unusual hours.
